Beth & Scott - Davidson Engagment

Can you believe it's almost the end of April already? For me that means wedding season is about to start! I had my first engagement shoot of 2008 late this afternoon and had such a great time! I'll be honest - I felt a little rusty at first (as I'm sure most photographers do after the slow season) but I quickly found my groove and ended up with a really great session.

Beth & Scott are getting married at the end of May at a beautiful outdoor setting northeast of Charlotte. We decided to do the engagement shoot on the campus of Davidson College as it had special meaning to Beth since her parents both worked there. I'd driven by once before, but I hadn't really experienced the beauty of that little gem until today. We found some great green areas, a beautiful cherry blossom tree, and even a Coke truck!

The rest of my favorites from their portrait session are below. I can't wait until their wedding! They're a really fun couple that you can just tell are so comfortable with eachother... definitely the "Real Thing" (... I couldn't help myself.)
